Life Insurance

Life insurance - looking after your family if you die

A widow is holding a very long piece of paper, which says BILLS. Her two children, a little boy and a little girl (holding her teddy) stand next to her. All three look despondent. The widow says "Daddy's life insurance was only enough to pay off the mortgage, there is nothing left to live on. I don't know how I'm going to pay these bills."

Do you have:

  • A financially dependant spouse or partner?
  • Young children?
  • A mortgage?
  • Debts?
  • Rent payments?
  • A potentially large inheritance tax bill?

If you die, will your:

  • Spouse/partner be financially secure?
  • Children's education and upbringing be adequately provided for?
  • Mortgage and debts be paid off?
  • Rent payments continue to be met, or alternatively, will a lump sum be provided to buy a home for your family?
  • Inheritance tax bill be easily & quickly paid?
