Policy Owner
This is the person who owns a policy and to whom the policy proceeds are paid if an insured event happens to the insured person.
For example, if the insured person was insured under a life insurance policy and should die, the policy proceeds would be paid to the policy owner.
The policy owner can be the insured person or a different person.
